Düsseldorf, 29 June 2026 – Advisory and audit firm Baker Tilly has expanded its partnership by promoting four professionals from within the organisation. With the appointment of Daniel Boms, Patrick Haas, Dominik Siwy and Daniel Zeiß as Partners, effective mid-year, the firm is strategically strengthening and broadening its service offering in the audit of industrial and financial services companies, as well as in restructuring and transaction advisory, financial services, and IT Assurance & Advisory.

Strengthening the firm through promoting four partners from within
With the appointment of Daniel Boms, Patrick Haas, Dominik Siwy and Daniel Zeiß to the partnership, four experienced leaders are appointed to Baker Tilly’s partnership who represent key areas of the firm’s service offering.

Daniel Boms is a specialist in IT-related assurance and advisory services within the regulated financial services sector. After completing vocational training as an industrial management assistant, he studied economics at the University of Bonn and subsequently earned a part-time Master's degree in Risk Management & Treasury. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and has extensive audit expertise in regulatory and IT control environments. Following his initial career in public accounting, Daniel Boms specialised early on in IT Audit and IT Assurance services. He has maintained close ties with Baker Tilly since 2015, interrupted only by interim positions at other audit firms and the Auditing Association of German Banks. Today, Daniel Boms is responsible for building and strategically developing Baker Tilly’s Financial Services IT Assurance & Advisory practice. Together with his team, he advises banks, financial institutions and technology-driven companies on regulatory, assurance-related and technological matters at the intersection of IT, regulation and financial reporting.

Patrick Haas is a German Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements of industrial and financial services companies. After earning his degree in business administration at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, he began his professional career in 2013 in PwC’s Audit practice. Alongside his work, he completed a part-time Master’s degree in Accounting & Auditing at the University of Münster and Ruhr University Bochum, and successfully qualified as a German CPA in 2018. He subsequently joined KPMG and later BDO, where he worked in Finance & Process Advisory. Patrick Haas joined Baker Tilly in 2023 and is now responsible for audit engagements under both German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS. He also plays a key role in expanding the firm’s audit practice, particularly in the industrial and financial services sectors.

Dominik Siwy is a German CPA and Certified Tax Advisor, and a recognized expert in financial statement audits and audit-related advisory services for complex business situations. After studying economics at Ruhr University Bochum, he began his professional career in audit and tax advisory in 2009 with audalis in Dortmund, where he quickly assumed responsibility for engagements involving mid-sized companies and public sector entities. Dominik Siwy joined Baker Tilly’s Dortmund office in 2015 and is responsible for annual and consolidated financial statement audits under both German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, while also overseeing Managed Services and advisory projects, particularly in restructuring, turnaround and special situations. A particular area of expertise is the assessment of going-concern matters and advising businesses through financially and operationally challenging periods.

Daniel Zeiß holds a degree in business administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt) and has extensive experience in restructuring and transaction advisory. After completing his business administration studies at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, he began his professional career with EY-Parthenon in 2009, where he worked in restructuring and transaction advisory until 2021. Daniel Zeiß joined Baker Tilly’s Frankfurt office in 2021. He advises mid-sized companies facing challenging business situations, supports complex restructuring projects, and assists companies and private equity firms with domestic and cross-border transactions. His particular areas of expertise include the development of viable restructuring concepts and the structuring and execution of complex transaction processes. In addition, he plays a key role in expanding Baker Tilly’s restructuring and transaction advisory practice and in driving the strategic development of these service lines.
