An interdisciplinary Baker Tilly team provided comprehensive advisory services to the CERTANIA Group in connection with the acquisition of InnoDiab Forschung GmbH.

The international advisory and audit firm Baker Tilly advised CERTANIA, an internationally active Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) company, on the acquisition of InnoDiab Forschung GmbH (“InnoDiab”), providing support in the areas of Financial and Tax advisory.

The transaction team, led by Munich-based Partner Stefan Greger, supported CERTANIA with the Financial Due Diligence, Tax Due Diligence, and the negotiation of the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA).

“We are delighted to have supported CERTANIA once again in this strategic acquisition. In particular, our interdisciplinary setup and our experience in the research and life sciences sector proved highly valuable,” said Stefan Greger.

In addition to Stefan Greger, the Financial Due Diligence team included Nicolas von Westberg (Director) and Grace Bejarano (Senior Consultant). The Tax Due Diligence was led by Uwe Roth (Partner), together with Stefan Lehner (Director) and Melina Heindl (Manager).

With the acquisition of InnoDiab, a specialized clinical research center focusing on diabetes, obesity, and metabolic diseases, CERTANIA expands its Life Sciences segment with complementary clinical research capabilities and direct access to patient recruitment expertise.
