Baker Tilly has appointed Carlos Robles y Zepf as a partner in its Frankfurt Corporate/M&A practice. Robles y Zepf joins from Mayer Brown with extensive experience advising corporates, family businesses and private equity investors on transactions.

His practice spans share and asset deals, joint ventures and carve-outs in the small and mid-cap segment, with particular depth in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure. “With Carlos Robles y Zepf, we gain a partner with proven transaction expertise who will provide our clients with competent and comprehensive support on complex M&A matters. His profile fits perfectly with our growth trajectory in the Corporate/M&A and Commercial practice areas,” said Dr. Thomas Gemmeke, Managing Partner at Baker Tilly.

The appointment underscores Baker Tilly’s continued expansion of its legal advisory services as part of the firm’s “BT28” strategy, through which Baker Tilly is strategically expanding its service portfolio and driving growth in core practice areas such as Corporate/M&A.
