Baker Tilly wins Real Estate Team for its Frankfurt office

With Dr. Hendrik Theismann and Michael Mehler, Baker Tilly is further expanding its Real Estate Practice

Frankfurt am Main, 1st July 2021 – Baker Tilly expands its Real Estate Industry Team with two renowned lawyers at partner level: Dr. Hendrik Theismann (44) and Michael Mehler (44) are joining Baker Tilly as of 1st July 2021, coming from Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. Based in Frankfurt, both will extend the Real Estate Advisory: Specialized in Portfolio Transactions, Project Development and Real Estate Finance, they will also advise in the field of Asset Management, Commercial Leases and other Real Estate related Agreements. On 1st August 2021 and 1st September 2021, respectively, three additional attorneys will join the team at Associate Level. 

At the beginning of the year, Baker Tilly already announced the arrival of lawyer and notary Simon Parviz, who, together with his team, is setting up the firm´s first Private Construction Law Department and a Notary's Office, also based in Frankfurt. With Theismann, Mehler and Parviz, Baker Tilly bundles its legal expertise in the area of Real Estate at the Frankfurt office.

Theismann and Mehler started their professional career in 2006 and 2007 at Ashurst and have since then advised a large number of the biggest Real Estate Transactions in Germany. In August 2018, Theismann joined Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Frankfurt am Main as Equity Partner and Mehler as Of Counsel (this position is equivalent to Salary Partner at other law firms).

Dr. Henrik Theismann is author of several publications in connection with Real Estate Law. Michael Mehler is a member of the Trade Committee of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA).
