Baker Tilly International announced today to separate member firms in Russia and Belarus from its global network. This decision is a direct consequence of the governments of these countries.

Outside of existing legal obligations, Baker Tilly International firms will not serve government clients or state-owned enterprises of Russia or Belarus, or sanctioned entities and individuals.
Ralf Gröning, member of the Global Executive Committee of Baker Tilly International and Managing Partner of Baker Tilly in Germany, said: "Separating firms in Russia and Belarus will understandably take some time. As we begin this process, we pledge to do right by our colleagues and our clients to mitigate the impact of this transition"

Baker Tilly remain focused on the safety and wellbeing of team members and their families in Ukraine and is mobilizing financial and logistical support to ease their suffering. In addition, Baker Tilly continues to raise critical funds for organizations providing direct humanitarian aid.
