An internationally integrated deal team from Germany and Switzerland was responsible for financial and tax due diligence and advised on the preparation of the share purchase agreement (SPA).

Munich, May 9, 2025 – International consulting firm Baker Tilly provided comprehensive advice to Matignon Group, an entrepreneurial holding company specializing in aesthetic medicine advised by Rigeto, on the acquisition of MEON. By taking over the MEON locations, Matignon Group is expanding its presence in German-speaking Switzerland.

Interdisciplinary team of consultants from Germany and Switzerland

An international deal team headed by Baker Tilly partner Sebastian Hafner supported the transaction. In addition to Hafner, Felix Burghart (Senior Manager) and Anna Wuschik (Junior Manager) conducted the financial due diligence and advised Matignon Group on preparing the share purchase agreement (SPA). A team of tax specialists from Baker Tilly Switzerland performed the tax due diligence.

Sebastian Hafner says: “With this transaction, we have once again demonstrated that Baker Tilly is a strong partner for cross-border M&A deals thanks to its international network. I congratulate all parties on this strategically far-sighted transaction and thank Rigeto and the Matignon Group for once again placing their trust in us.”

Matignon Group strengthens portfolio, continues growth trajectory

As part of the transaction, Matignon Group acquired all shares in MEON Clinic AG and MEON Center AG, based in Lucerne and Meggen. The two established locations on Lake Lucerne expand the geographical presence of Matignon Group, which is advised by Rigeto, and strengthen its position in the strategically important and economically attractive region of Central Switzerland. With its clear service profile in invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic medicine, its high-quality infrastructure, and its established regional roots, MEON fits perfectly into Matignon Group's medical and strategic portfolio.
