Baker Tilly Strengthens Tourism and Public Sector Advisory Capabilities with Cornelius Obier

Baker Tilly, the international advisory, tax, legal and assurance firm, continues to expand its sector expertise in tourism and the public sector with the appointment of Cornelius Obier as Senior Advisor, effective 1 July.

Working closely with Baker Tilly's Public Procurement Law team, Obier will support client engagements involving public tourism organisations, destination management entities and industry associations. His work will focus in particular on projects relating to infrastructure development, organisational transformation and strategic planning. His advisory expertise centres on complex strategic and organisational challenges faced by public institutions and tourism stakeholders.

About Cornelius Obier

Cornelius Obier brings nearly three decades of leadership and consulting experience to Baker Tilly. He is the founder and long-standing Managing Director of PROJECT M GmbH, one of the leading tourism consultancies in the German-speaking market, and has also served as Managing Director of the European Tourism Institute.

Alongside his role with Baker Tilly, Obier will continue to act as Senior Advisor to PROJECT M. In this capacity, he serves as a strategic link between PROJECT M's tourism and management consulting expertise and Baker Tilly's legal and regulatory advisory capabilities, enabling clients to benefit from an integrated, cross-disciplinary approach.
