Baker Tilly Advises knowmad mood on the Acquisition of MuniConS GmbH

International advisory and audit firm Baker Tilly advised knowmad mood, a Spanish publicly listed technology and consulting company headquartered in Las Rozas, Madrid, on its acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Munich-based MuniConS GmbH. 

The interdisciplinary and cross-border Baker Tilly team supported the transaction from both the German and Spanish sides. A German team led by Munich Partner Dr. Jörg Maitzen was responsible for the legal due diligence, negotiation of the transaction documentation, and tax due diligence. In Spain, a Baker Tilly Spain team conducted the financial due diligence and provided financial transaction services.

Through the acquisition, knowmad mood also aims to unlock new opportunities in areas such as AI and the digital transformation of complex organizations. 

The acquisition of the shares also includes the indirect takeover of the Indian subsidiary MuniConS India Private Ltd. Rolf Pollmeier and Mehmet Pamukci will remain with the company as Managing Directors.
