An international Baker Tilly team provided business and tax advice to CERTANIA Group on its acquisition of sustainability consultant Terra Institute.

Munich, July 17, 2025 – With an interdisciplinary team from Germany and Italy, international consulting firm Baker Tilly provided comprehensive business and tax advice to CERTANIA Holding GmbH on the acquisition of Terra Institute s.r.l, a consulting firm specializing in sustainability and systemic ESG transformation. 

The financial due diligence (FDD) process was led by Stefan Greger, Baker Tilly Partner and project partner in charge, with support from Nicolas von Westberg (Director) and Matei Hristov (Consultant). Riccardo Romanini, Tax Partner at Baker Tilly Italy (MTEA), was responsible for tax advice.
