Florian Bandrack joins the management team as General Representative and supports the company's restructuring process.

The international advisory and audit firm Baker Tilly is supporting KORTE Einrichtungen GmbH in its restructuring and strategic realignment under self-administration insolvency proceedings. Florian Bandrack, attorney-at-law and Baker Tilly Partner, has joined the management team as General Representative and is supporting the management in implementing the proceedings and driving the company's strategic development.

The restructuring was initiated against the backdrop of persistently challenging market conditions in the bakery industry. Significant cost pressures on artisan bakeries and considerably longer approval processes have resulted in noticeable restraint in investment activity and declining demand for new store construction and refurbishment projects.

“Self-administration provides KORTE with the opportunity to further develop its structures and align the company with changing market conditions. Together with the management team, we will actively shape the restructuring process and create the foundation for a sustainable future for the company,” said Florian Bandrack.
