Reinsberg Group has acquired IT specialist Rein Medical GmbH. Baker Tilly is providing the MedTech Group with comprehensive advice in the areas of legal, tax, and financial matters.

International consulting firm Baker Tilly provided comprehensive advice to Reinsberg Group on the acquisition of Rein Medical GmbH. The holding company, which belongs to Czech private equity investor BHM, is acquiring Rein Medical from Japanese electronics manufacturer JVC Kenwood Corporation.

Rein Medical GmbH, which, in addition to its headquarters in Mönchengladbach, also has subsidiaries in Spain and Switzerland, offers a wide range of IT and imaging applications for the healthcare and hospital sector. As a system service provider, Rein Medical delivers IT solutions for clinics and medical practices throughout Europe, from planning to handover. Its focus is in particular on operating room integration, image and video data management, and modern IT and documentation systems.

With this acquisition, Reinsberg Group is strengthening its portfolio in the areas of digital hospital and medical technology solutions. “We are very glad to have once again been able to support Reinsberg Group in implementing its growth plans on its way to becoming a one-stop provider of hospital technology,” said Uwe Roth (Partner).
