The transaction was supported by an interdisciplinary Baker Tilly team providing comprehensive legal and tax advice.
Dortmund, April 17, 2025 – The international consulting firm Baker Tilly has provided eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co. KG with comprehensive legal and tax advice on a change in the group of shareholders.
As part of the transaction, the regional energy supplier enviaM, which belongs to E.ON Group, sold its stake of less than ten percent and thus left the group of shareholders. A wholly-owned subsidiary of eins energie in sachsen acquired the stake.
The transaction was advised by Alexandra Sausmekat (Lead Partner), Bernhard Gemmel (Partner Legal Financing) as well as Ceren Uzun (Director), Bernd Conrad (Senior Manager) and Thomas Holtschneider (Manager).
The sale was made as part of enviaM Group’s strategic considerations regarding portfolio optimization. The previous shareholders, Kommunale Versorgungs- und Energiedienstleistungsgesellschaft Südsachsen mbH, Kommunale Versorgungsdienstleistungsgesellschaft Chemnitz mbH and Thüga AG, remain unchanged.
“We would like to express our sincere thanks for the trust placed in us by eins energie in sachsen and are very happy to have successfully accompanied this important strategic step. The close cooperation with all parties involved was crucial for the smooth progress of the transaction,” says Alexandra Sausmekat.
