Baker Tilly advises Rigeto on acquisition of prevention-center by Matignon Group

Baker Tilly has advised Matignon Group, part of Rigeto Unternehmerkapital, on the acquisition of prevention-center with two locations in Zurich and Zug. Matignon is thus now also expanding into the German-speaking market in Switzerland for further expansion.

Following the completion of the financial and tax due diligences by Baker Tilly and the final agreement after the conclusion of the purchase agreement negotiations, Matignon Group acquired prevention-center at the end of April 2023. Within the course of the acquisition, the company’s founder and previous owner Dr. Christian Köhler joins Matignon Group and will lead the development in German-speaking Switzerland. 

Baker Tilly partner Stefan Greger and manager Matus Bonko were responsible for the financial due diligence. The tax due diligence team comprised Partner Uwe Roth, Director Stefan Lehner and colleagues from Baker Tilly Obt in Switzerland. Together, the two teams also provided selective supportive advice during the drafting of the purchase agreement. 

Rigeto invests private assets of entrepreneurs as well as entrepreneurial families with a long-term investment approach to develop and increase the value of the companies it supports. The focus of Matignon's investor group is on investments in medium-sized companies from the DACH region. prevention-center, which currently has two locations and around 20 employees, offers a wide range of aesthetic surgical treatments. In the coming years, further locations are to be opened in the metropolitan areas of German-speaking Switzerland. They were founded in 2007 by Dr. Christian Köhler.
