Following the continuation of operations after institution of insolvency proceedings, TECCON Consulting & Engineering GmbH takes over BeOne Hamburg GmbH’s employees.

As provisional insolvency administrator, the Hamburg Baker Tilly partner Finn Peters, Attorney-at-Law, accompanied the restructuring of BeOne Hamburg GmbH and the subsequent takeover by TECCON Consulting & Engineering GmbH as part of an asset deal. In May 2022, the management of the renowned engineering and IT service provider, BeOne Hamburg, had filed an application for the opening of insolvency proceedings at the Hamburg-Mitte District Court. The primary causes of insolvency include the loss of orders in the aviation sector in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic and the lack of state aid for 2022.

“Our goal during the preliminary insolvency was to quickly restructure BeOne's business. In order to secure the future in the long term, a takeover of BeOne by a strategic partner was the right way to go,” says Peters: “To this end, we worked very closely with the BeOne management and ultimately achieved our main goal together: preserving business operations and all jobs.”

Since its establishment in 2004, BeOne Hamburg GmbH (BeOne) has stood for first-class engineering and IT services for medium-sized companies and large corporations. The company, based in Hamburg and Aachen, combines classic consulting services with engineering thinking. Since 2016, BeOne has been approved as a certified Design Organization according to EASA Part-21J and has been a Siemens Solution Partner for the Low-Code Platform MENDIX since 2021. To date, BeOne and its interdisciplinary team have completed more than 4,700 projects in the aerospace, renewable energy, automotive, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. The company employs about 30 people, including engineers, computer scientists, business economists and technicians.
