Baker Tilly Foundation supports Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation

The foundation supports children, teenagers, pregnant women, and young adults who have suffered the loss of a loved one. With a unique concept of grief counseling, the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation creates space for grief, hope, and a gentle new beginning – both in one-on-one counseling and in exchanges with like-minded people in group sessions.  

The contact with like-minded people helps to break through the speechlessness and find a way back into life. The foundation brings young mourners together with people who have gone through similar experiences, providing a safe space for them to deal with loss as a group. 

Hubert Seitz, member of the Baker Tilly Foundation’s Advisory Board, emphasizes: “The work of the Nicolaidis YoungWings Foundation is extremely impressive. I have learned a lot – especially about a taboo subject like death. The foundation offers children incredibly important support in coping with grief and mourning.”
