Baker Tilly has provided tax advice to software investor Main Capital Partners GmbH on its majority investment in software manufacturer aruba informatik GmbH.
Through its investment in aruba, Main Capital Partners is not only expanding its portfolio, but is also using the deal as one of four majority investments in order to form a new business software group under the name enventa. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price of the shares.
The advisory services of the team around the two Baker Tilly partners Patrick Helsper, German CPA/Tax Advisor, and Christian Wegener, Tax Advisor, mainly comprised a financial and tax due diligence as well as tax advice in connection with the purchase agreement. The team members Senior Manager Jonas Hagen, German CPA/Tax Advisor (Financial DD) as well as Manager Dr. Christiane Krüger, Attorney-at-Law/Tax Advisor (Tax DD) were also involved in the engagement.
