Baker Tilly advises Rockaway Ventures and Serpentine Ventures on their investment in open hospitality platform Apaleo
With the legal support of Baker Tilly, Rockaway Ventures and Serpentine Ventures invested in open hospitality platform Apaleo GmbH within an extended Series A financing round, bringing the growth funding to a total volume of EUR 9 million.
The Baker Tilly team consisted of Dr. Thomas Gemmeke, Daniela Konle, Dr. Jörg Maitzen (all Venture Capital), Dr. Christian Engelhardt (IP) and Christine Ostwald (Labor Law). The advice comprised legal due diligence and support in preparing and negotiating the necessary contractual documents.
Founded in 2017 out of Munich, Apaleo is the open property management platform for hotel and serviced apartment groups. Apaleo empowers accommodation providers to create the ultimate digital experience for guests & staff with its API-first platform and some of the hundreds of integrations available in the Apaleo Store.
