Dr. Raphael Won-Pil Suh advises Instrument Systems on acquisition of Kimsoptec

After joining Baker Tilly, Dr. Raphael Won-Pil Suh – together with his previous law firm Dentons - comprehensively advised Instrument Systems GmbH on the closing of the acquisition of all shares in its longstanding Korean distribution partner Kimsoptec.
Within his first weeks at Baker Tilly after joining the firm in August 2022, Dr. Raphael Won-Pil Suh closed an M&A deal which had been signed in July 2022. At that time, he was still under contract with Dentons.
Instrument Systems GmbH is a leading global manufacturer of high-precision spectrometers, complex systems and software solutions for spectral light measurement technology. Instrument Systems GmbH is headquartered in Munich and is part of Konica Minolta Group. The core business areas include display testing and optical metrology.
Korea-based Kimsoptec is a distributor of Instrument Systems in the Korean display and optical metrology business.
