Where does the name Baker Tilly come from?    The British firm, which was a founding member and namesake of the international Baker Tilly network, can trace its origins back to 1870, to the company “Howard, Craggs & Co”. In 1988, one century later, historical name changes and mergers led to the name “Baker Tilly”– from a merger between “Baker Rooke” and “Howard Tilly & Co”. Together with the German “Allrevision Dornhof Kloss und Partner GmbH” and the Dutch auditing company “Vekemans and Berk”, the international network “Baker Tilly International” was established in the same year 1988. In Germany, the “RölfsPartner” group of companies became an independent member of the global network in 2005 through the merger with “Allrevision Dornhof Kloss”.
