Baker Tilly Roelfs advised the Munich start-up company FinTecSystems upon the entry of further investors within the scope of a round of financing.

The transaction team headed by the Munich partners Stephan Zuber (lead partner, corporate) and Dr. Jörg Maitzen (venture capital) provided to FinTecSystems comprehensive legal advice within the project’s scope both in terms of contract design and contract negotiations.

FinTecSystems analyses customer online banking data and provides such analysis to banks, thereby enabling the financial institutes to draw conclusions, for example, on a new customer’s creditworthiness.

With the round of financing, FinTecSystems was able to complete its A-series and collect a seven-figure sum. In the past year, the company received a medium-sized six-figure sum from Heilemann Ventures and MenschDanke Capital. Both existing shareholders are now also participating in the A-series. Ventech from Paris and the German VC Littlerock are new on board. Both new investors are supposed to support the company’s internationalization. The start-up company is already active on the German and the Austrian market.
