German-Swedish Baker Tilly team supports Cherry’s acquisition of Xtrfy

Baker Tilly advises Cherry SE on the acquisition of Xtrfy, a Swedish specialist for e-sports equipment.

A Baker Tilly team comprising German and Swedish financial and tax specialists has advised Cherry SE (“Cherry”) on the acquisition of all shares in Built on Experience AB, Landskrona, and its subsidiary, Xtrfy Gaming AB, Landskrona (collectively “Xtrfy”). 

In cooperation with their Swedish Baker Tilly colleagues, the team around German partners Christian Wegener (tax) and Nils Klamar (financial) was responsible for the financial due diligence, supported the negotiations and advised on the wording of the Share Purchase Agreement between Cherry and Xtrfy. Furthermore, Baker Tilly Director Daniel Zeiß played a key role in financial consulting. 

Cherry is a global manufacturer of high-end mechanical keyboard switches and computer input devices such as keyboards, computer mice and headsets for applications in gaming, e-sports, office and hybrid workstations, industry and healthcare. With the acquisition of Xtrfy, Cherry strengthens its GAMING product portfolios while expanding its market presence into the neighboring regions of Northern European countries.
