As of October 1, 2022, Santo Pane (52) will join Baker Tilly as the new Head of Market Services. He will report directly to the two members of the Management Board Prof. Dr. Thomas Edenhofer and Dr. Thomas Gemmeke. In this role, Santo Pane will provide significant impetus for the strategic realignment of Market Services into a strongly acquisition-oriented as well as data- and digitally-based unit that will measurably contribute to Baker Tilly’s further growth. Market Services includes the Marketing & Communications and Sales & Business Development units. Santo Pane will head the Marketing & Communications unit himself and will also be operationally responsible for the necessary realignment.
Santo Pane previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was very successful in developing PwC Germany’s and PwC Europe’s communications and marketing as Head of Marketing & Communications Germany and Europe. Prior to this, the qualified banker and business economist was Managing Director at the global agencies Burson Cohn & Wolfe and Edelman, where he was responsible for the Corporate Communications department and supported numerous clients from the areas of auditing, legal and tax consulting, management consulting and the financial sector. As Global Head of Marketing Capital Markets, he was previously responsible for all marketing, communications and event activities of WestLB’s investment banking worldwide.
